Most Oktoberfest beers brewed in the US are modeled after classic dark amber Marzens that burst with big bready aromas and rich caramel flavors. Weinhenstephaner’s is an excellent example of the modern Festbier style currently served at Munich’s famous Oktoberfest. While lighter in color, it’s still very flavorful, and its rich honeyed sweetness and a subtle earthy noble hop character make it a refreshing alternative to your run of the mill Marzen. 5.8% ABV 26 IBU
